Exciting Development in WPB

Northwood Square

Spans from 23rd Street north to 25th Street, and from the FEC Railway east to Broadway Avenue, including a lot on the west side of Broadway.The main building will have six stories atop a three-story podium and will consist of 321 apartments, 54,800 square feet of commercial space and garages for the entire development, according to a city planning staff report on the project. It will be connected through a pedestrian overpass to a smaller, four-story building that will consist of 39 apartments and 5,200 square feet of commercial space. The last building will be four stories but taper down to three in the portion of the lot that’s within a historic district, according to the planning staff report. It will consist of 22 apartments and 3,200 square feet of commercial space.


NORA

Nora’s Phase I includes 150,000 square feet of adaptive reuse and new development and will be home to best-in-class hospitality, retail, and wellness. Phase II is actively being planned and will feature significant hotel, office, and residential development. The Nora District is bordered by Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard to the north, Quadrille Boulevard to the south, North Dixie Highway to the east, and the Florida East Coast (F.E.C.) Railway to the west. The Nora District blends a thoughtfully curated retail environment with improved infrastructure, cobblestone streets and curbless sidewalks, lush landscaping, public parks, and art in public spaces. It was intentionally designed for pedestrians and the flourishing West Palm community.

James. “The City of West Palm Beach is pleased to advance the renovation of Currie Park, which will ensure the park’s evolution as an iconic, inclusive public space and world class amenity for all.”The projected cost of the redevelopment is slated at between $29.4 - $38.7 million.
